Within our Burton’s group, we have 6 bakery sites across the UK, located in Blackpool, Livingston, Edinburgh, Dorset, Isle of Arran and Llantarnam, with our head office in St Albans.   In total we employ circa 2,100 people around across our locations.

What does your typical day look like?  

You will be responsible for analysing customer trends (volumes, gross sales, trade margin, promo spending) and identify opportunity areas in terms of promo spending.

 

Other key actions will be but not limited to:

– Support marketing in the definition of pricing strategies, by bringing knowledge of competitor SKU prices and promo by channel, with a 1-year horizon to define price lists

– Contribute to customer planning by coordinating the full set of turnover levers, promo and customer investments

– Manage price promo lever defining its features (trend, extension, depth, SKU) and spending efficiency

– Define, together with sales, price promo budget allocation with a channel/customer perspective, checking its effectiveness and efficiency

– To manage the site internal audit programme

 

What are the key ingredients needed for the role? 

You will need previous experience of having full responsibility of customer data analysis, pricing management, planning.

 

You will need to be confident with interfacing with sales, marketing, consumer insights, Trade marketing.
